Send Away Terms and Conditions

  • Bookings are held for two weeks. Deposit and completed form must be returned within these two weeks.
  • A deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking but does not act as part payment towards your final balance.
  • All deposits are cashed upon receipt for security reasons.
  • All deposits will be refunded upon the return of the hired goods, minus deductions for loss or damage, within 30 days of the hire date
  • In the event of the hirer cancelling their booking the £50 deposit is not refundable under any circumstances.
  • Hired goods remain the property of Ella’s events at all times.
  • Prices quoted are quoted for one day’s hire but allows time for delivery and collection.
  • The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage which occurs from the time of delivery until the goods are returned to our premises.
  • ‘Loss’ means any item not returned to us following the hire
  • ‘Damage’ means , for example, burns, tears, rips, candle wax marks, stains which are impossible to remove
  • The fee for damaged/lost items is as follows :- Chair cover - £10.00 Sash - £3.50 Other items - to be advised
  • If missing/damaged items exceed the £50 damage deposit, an invoice will be issued.
  • Excessively dirty covers will incur a surcharge of £15; this is deducted from deposit.
  • Final payment must be received 4 weeks; and no later, prior to the event. If it is not received by then booking will be invalid and deposit lost.
  • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that the chair covers ordered will be suitable for the chairs used at their venue and that the venue to do not intend to change the style of chair before the date of hirer’s event. We cannot be held responsible for covers not fitting if this is the case.
  • Any samples requested remain the property of Ella’s Events and must be returned to us at your earliest convenience. Postal charges remain your responsibility.
  • Hired goods must be ready for collection at the agreed location on the appointed date.
  • If covers and sashes fail to be returned to Ella’s Events, an invoice will be sent to hirer for costs of replacing items at retail price.
  • Ella’s Events cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury which occurs while hiring our goods, howsoever caused.
  • Sashes not untied before returning will incur a £15 surcharge
  • It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that they or their representative are present at the delivery address on the delivery date, as the courier will require a signature
  • Deliveries to third parties are made entirely at your own risk
  • Aborted deliveries will incur a charge.
  • Ella’s Events cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of goods due to failure on the part of our couriers.
  • Aborted collections will incur a charge.
  • Hired goods must be securely packed and adequately taped up in the boxes in which they were delivered.
    If there is more than one box, items must be divided equally between them to stay within specific carrier advised weight limits. Charges will be incurred for incorrect weights and inadequately taped up boxes and will be deducted from your deposit.
  • Ella’s Events reserve the right to use any photographs of their property taken during the hire period for promotional purposes, unless otherwise advised by the hirer.

  • While Ella’s Events will make every effort to attend your set up we must point out that in the event of emergency e.g serious illness, severe weather, traffic delays etc Ella’s Events can take no responsibility for non - attendance.
  • Ella’s Events are not able to move chairs into position at your venue; if the room and/or chairs are not ready we may be unable to provide our set up service
  • Electricity is required in the set up location.
  • Health and safety regulations means that we may be unable to operate our steamer if there is insufficient room and therefore some creases will remain.
